About Waterlily

Christine Gauthier moved from France to Cambodia in 1996. Her passion for jewellery developed through a creative need to interpret the nature she was surrounded by into fashion. The stunning landscapes of Cambodia brought much inspiration with the spectacular green of the ricefields, calming reds and oranges of a Cambodian sunset and of course the namesake for her business, the waterlily which brought a flash of pink to her creations. In 2002 "Waterlily" was established with a workshop and retail store opened on Street 240 in the well-known french quarter of Phnom Penh.

All Waterlily products are handmade using innovative materials such as copperwire and buttons. With a clever mixture of colours and resources, Christine creates original products that reflect the freshness of the Cambodian nature she fell in love with.
